Itinerary

DAY 1

MALAGA – GRANADA

We will start our tour from Mediterranean coast.

Malaga is the center of the "Costa del Sol" which means "sunny beach" as sun is shining more than 350 days of the year over this beautiful city. We will have chance to see a part of this famous beach, botanic gardens of the city, Castle of Gibralfaro, Cathedral of the city, Plaza Constitución, Roman Theater, Andalusian Castle, Picasso Museum, History of Art and Archaeology Museum during our panoramic tour. You will also have some free time in the city center to visit exciting museums of the city or to explore remarkable boutiques for shopping, even to test amazing Andalusian food at famous tapas bars.

DAY 2

GRANADA

Today we depart to visit the Jewel of Andalucia, the City of Granada. ‘Gar-anat’ meaning ‘Hill of the Pilgrims’ or ‘Hill of the Strangers’, now known as Granada, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and at the confluence of four rivers, the Darro, the Genil, the Monachil and the Beiro.

Next stop: The "pearl" of the Al Andalus; Al Hambra.

The Alhambra is mindblowing and something that everyone should see at least once in their life. We will visit The Royal City Complex of the Alhambra including Palaces, Fortress and Gardens w/our guide for 3 hours.

After breathtaking Al Hambra, we will start to explore beautiful Granada. Albayzin old Muslim district, Moroccan Bazaars, Calle Elvira, Plaza de Isabel de Catolica, Old Bedesten Corral de Carbon, Catedral de Granada will be some spots during our tour.

DAY 3

GRANADA – CORDOBA – SEVILLA

Going even further into the heartlands of Andalusia, you’ll come to the ancient city of Cordoba. This is another city that, like Granada, has a fascinating, multi-layered history, symbolised by the mosque-cathedral that dominates the city centre. There are also countless other historical buildings to be explored. The city of Cordoba lies in the valley of the river Guadalquivir at an altitude of 122 meters and has about 350,000 inhabitants.

In the 10th century, Córdoba was one of the most important cities in Europe and the capital of the Muslims during 500 years in Medieval Period, it mentioned as capital of scholars, culture and Andalusian caliphate. Ibn-i Rusd (Averroes), Maimonides and many others were worked and lived in this amazing medieval capital. Still you can feel this matchless history at the streets of Cordoba.

Our tour will be by foot walking among the streets of old district, between old Andalusian houses, streets of flowers, fountains.

We will also see Roman Bridge, which is over 2.000 years old, as well as the oldest mosque Mesquita-Catedral of Cordoba.

DAY 4

SEVILLA

Capital and biggest city of Andalucia; Sevilla!  

Seville’s rich history has left the city stuffed with innumerable monuments like the awesome cathedral , the third largest in the world, the Giralda tower, the wonderful palace of the Reales Alcázares, the magical Barrio of Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Maestranza bullfighting ring and the passion for Flamenco and the perfume of orange blossoms on every corner.

We will start our tour from the avenue of palm trees and see "casas" of the countries of American continent, Plaza de America and stop in peerless Plaza de España. After Plaza de España we will continue to our visit by walking and pass the historical district "Santa Cruz", we will see old traditional houses of Sevilla, streets and memories of inquisitional period and we will reach to Plaza de Triunfo (Victory Square).

Do not worry! You will have free time to discover more and get lost in the narrow streets!

DAY 5

SEVILLA – MALAGA 

All good things must come to an end!

Depending on the flight schedule, we could spend a day off at Malaga beaches or head directly to the airport as today is the departure day from Al Andalus with unforgettable memories.

 How to prepare?

Wear sturdy shoes or sneakers. Heels or flip-flops are not recommended because of the cobblestone pavement and the stairs streets in the villages.

Especially on hot sunny days (almost always), it is recommended to bring a hat or a cap and sunglasses. Also bring some sun lotion if you are pale skinned.
